Schedule:

April 12 5:30 pm - 8:00 pm - 4-H Judging Program

This workshop will help leaders be prepared to coordinate the 4-H judging program for members. We will review the resources available to help teach judging skills, learn how to score judging cards, and discuss how to effectively plan a judging rally.

April 13 9:00 am - 12:00 pm - Put the Child First

This training program is mandatory for all 4-H leaders within their first two years of leadership. This session will help volunteers understand how to work safely with youth, recognize potential indicator signs of abuse, and take appropriate action in cases where youth are in need of help or protection.

12:00 pm - 1:00 pm - Lunch Break (lunch provided)

1:00 pm - 4:00 pm - Introduction to 4-H

This training program is mandatory for all 4-H leaders within their first two years of leadership. In this session leaders will learn about the history, objectives, and structure of the 4-H program in BC. The session will provide access to tools and resources that can help 4-H leaders support their members in making the most of the 4-H experience.
