Throughout their lives, the Barichellos were heavily involved in the 4-H community and were committed to many projects that improved the lives of others while also providing leadership whenever needed. Ralph and Mae held an impressive number of roles within their community which included leading the Langley 4-H Jersey Club for over 25 years, maintaining a position as Chairman for the Pacific National Exhibition (PNE) 4-H committee and dairy committee, president of the BC Agriculture Council, serving on the Township of Langley, serving as a Returning Officer in Langley, and were heavily involved in their local church in a variety of different roles, to name just a few. Ralph and Mae's contributions have led to a legacy of improving their community while also creating positive relationships within the agriculture sector. Values such as these are what we would like to celebrate by recognizing individuals who give back to their community through serving, supporting and a commitment to the betterment of others.
