Spring Edition 2017
On January 21, 2017, thirty-two members and parents of the Chilliwack 4-H Dog Club gathered for their fourth annual Clicker Training Boot Camp, from 10 am-3 pm in the Rosedale United Church Hall. The club usually starts off the year with a clicker training boot camp in order to explain to the new members what positive reinforcement training is, why we use it, how to master some important basic mechanical skills, and it offers a preview of what skills the members will soon be teaching their own dogs which will prepare them for summer competitions and Achievement Day. The day also serves as an opportunity for more experienced members to brush up on their skills, and all our members have a chance to get to know each other better. It’s a fun day with pizza ordered for lunch!
