Lead the Next Generation of Leaders – Become the Executive Director of 4-H BC

Are you a visionary leader with a passion for youth development, community building, and agriculture? 4-H BC is seeking an inspiring and strategic Executive Director to lead the new 2025 – 2028 Strategic Plan and mission to empower young people with life and career skills and agricultural awareness while inspiring, education, and supporting youth through hands-on learning.

For over a century, 4-H BC, a non-profit organization operating as a charity, has been shaping future leaders by fostering curiosity, responsibility, and community spirit in youth across the province in cohesive partnership with the Ministry of Agriculture. As our Executive Director, you will lead a team of 4 – 5 staff and guide this legacy into the future—collaborating with volunteers, partners, families, alumni and sponsors to grow our impact and ensure 4-H BC continues to thrive as a cornerstone of youth development, reaching young people ages 6 – 21 in both rural and urban communities.

Reporting to and working together with the Provincial Council, or Board of Directors, the Executive Director is responsible for providing leadership to 4-H’s vision and mission and leading in operational management. The Executive Director maintains a positive image of 4-H BC and ensures effective liaison with 4-H regions and districts throughout the province, government, and all funding agencies.
