National Program - Ireland 2027
Ireland 2027 is an incredible international travel opportunity for 4-H members ages 17-21, combining agriculture, culture, leadership, and unforgettable experiences. From May 14-21, 2027, participants will explore Ireland's vibrant agricultural industry through farm tours, a visit to the famous Balmoral Agricultural Show, and a research farm experience. Along the way, you'll connect with members of the Young Irish Farmers group, build international friendships, and gain a global perspective on agriculture.
But it's not all learning! Participants will also experience the excitement of Irish culture through activities like zip lining, traditional Irish sports, and visits to iconic landmarks, castles, and places of interest across the country. Whether you're passionate about agriculture, eager to travel, or looking to expand your horizons, Ireland 2027 offers the perfect blend of education, adventure, and cultural discovery.

Provincial Club Week (PCW)
PCW is a unique, six-day experience for senior members to meet other 4-H’ers from around the province, explore personal values, interpersonal skills, and have fun!

Ambassador Program
Applications for 2024 are now closed. Applications will reopen November 1, 2025
The 4-H British Columbia Ambassadors promote awareness of 4-H opportunities in their region and around the province, and act as resource people for 4-H members, leaders and the public.

Food for Thought
The Food For Thought program gives 4-H British Columbia members ages 14-15 the opportunity to discover BC agriculture.
Program participants will taste and experience BC products and become more aware of the BC agriculture industry through exploring issues related to limited land and water resources, sustainable development and the rural urban interface.
Food For Thought is offered in even years (2016, 2018, etc) alternating with Youth Action.
Program Fee: $450.00

Provincial 4-H Communication Finals
The purpose of Provincial 4-H Communication Finals program is to provide 4-H members the opportunity to participate in a public speaking and demonstration program to further their communication skills with the general public.

Special Topic Educational Display Contest
Build a traditional 4-H educational display or create a digital poster on the topic: Healthy Choices for Better Living.
This year the program will be hybrid with traditional educational display boards submitted in-person at the PNE, and a virtual option for members to enter the digital poster category online.

Youth Action
Youth Action is an opportunity for 14-15 year old 4-H members to come together for five days to explore issues important to youth, to learn new self esteem skills and to learn leadership skills while working in groups.
Youth Action is offered in oddyears (2017, 2019, etc) alternating with Food for Thought.

Agri-Career Quest
Agri-Career Quest is a five day program for 4-H members and students that are non-members to explore careers in the agriculture industry.
Agri-Career Quest is offered in odd years (2009, 2011, 2013 etc.) alternating with Provincial Club Week.
