Victoria Pitsiaeli - New Rep. Youth Advisory Comittee
Hello everyone! My name is Victoria Pitsiaeli, and I am so excited to be the new BC representative on the Youth Advisory Committee! 4-H has been such a life-changing experience for me, and I am really looking forward to promoting and representing youth on a national level. Growing up in an urban area in the Fraser Valley, 4-H provided me with a link to agriculture that I otherwise would have missed out and from my 13 years in 4-H, I have so many amazing memories. Starting out as a Cloverbud, I completed many dairy, goat and non-livestock projects, participated in Provincial Communication Finals multiple times, Youth Action and Food for Thought and have also contributed as a 4-H BC Ambassador, Ambassador Representative to 4-H BC Provincial Council, PNE Ambassador and the 4-H Coordinator for Maple Ridge Country Fest for the past 2 years. I am currently in my third year at UBC studying Global Resource Systems and Business Management with a focus on agriculture.
Some fun facts about me:
- I can recite the alphabet backwards in under 5 seconds.
- My favourite colour is green - go 4-H!
- I am a competitive Irish dancer and have been dancing for 12 years
- I love baking, drinking tea, hiking and traveling to explore new places.
If you have any thoughts on how we can continue to grow 4-H, I would love to hear from you so I can better represent youth members!
